The Southern California Wing of the Commemorative Airforce is looking forward to brining some unique WWII era warbirds to the 2019 Yuma Airshow.
Attendees of the airshow can look forward to seeing the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero, the Grumman F6F Hellcat and F8F Bearcat fighters and the North American B-25/PBJ Mitchell bomber perform in the show and in static display.
These aircraft represent some of the most noteworthy participants in the Pacific Theater of World War II and are some of the last remaining airworthy examples of their kind.
The B25/PBJ is the only flying Marine Corps Mitchell bomber in existence today, the Japanese Zero and Grumman Hellcat represent one of only five of each kind still in flying and there are only a handful of Bearcats still flying in its original WWII Navy configuration.
